Job Responsibilities for Certified Surgical Tech:

  • Practice and maintain sterile technique during surgeries
  • Perform counts of sponges, needles, and instruments correctly and efficiently
  • Competent in the knowledge, skills, and ability to fulfill the scrub technician role

Requirements for the Certified Surgical Tech:

  • BLS
  • Surgical Technician certification
