Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Montgomery, AL. This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping patients improve their speech, language, and overall quality of life.
Responsibilities:

Conduct patient evaluations to assess speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient-specific needs and goals.

Provide therapy sessions, incorporating evidence-based techniques and assistive technology as needed.

Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies, home exercises, and swallowing techniques.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in electronic medical records (EMR).

Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Stay up to date with industry best practices and participate in professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

Current Alabama SLP license or eligibility for licensure.

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA (preferred).

CPR certification (preferred).

Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Previous experience in a clinical setting (preferred but not required).

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
