Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Evaluations & Treatment: Conduct comprehensive assessments, create personalized treatment plans, and provide therapeutic services to children with communication disorders.
- Therapeutic Interventions: Treat a variety of conditions, including fine motor delays, sensory processing challenges, speech-language delays, hearing disorders, feeding difficulties, and developmental delays.
- Family Education & Support: Work closely with families to teach and empower them to use therapeutic techniques at home to support treatment goals.
- Accurate Record Keeping: Maintain detailed patient records, document treatment plans, and track outcomes to ensure effective and continuous care.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care that ensures the best possible outcomes for each child.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Licensure: Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure in Arkansas (or ability to obtain).
- Experience: Experience in pediatric care preferred, but new graduates are also encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with a passion for improving the lives of children.
- Certifications: CPR and First Aid certifications preferred, but not required.
