Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will work with individuals of all ages, particularly focusing on the schools population. This role is crucial in helping clients improve their communication skills and overall quality of life through tailored speech therapy programs. You will collaborate with families and healthcare professionals to assess and address speech and language needs.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication abilities.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient goals.
  • Implement evidence-based speech therapy techniques to enhance communication skills.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding speech therapy processes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, occupational therapists, and parents.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, assessments, and treatment outcomes.
  • Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in speech-language pathology.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to speech and language functions.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology relevant to speech therapy practices.
  • Experience in patient care with a focus on patients.
  • Ability to conduct thorough patient assessments effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
