Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team. As an LCSW, you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating clients with a wide range of behavioral health issues. Your responsibilities will include conducting individual and group therapy sessions, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' emotional, psychological, and social needs.
- Formulate accurate diagnoses based on clinical assessments and client history.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with clients' goals and objectives.
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other modalities as appropriate.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions to address common themes and promote peer support.
- Monitor and evaluate clients' progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure integrated services.
- Advocate for clients' rights and support their efforts to access community resources and social services.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
- Current LCSW licensure in the state of Alabama.
- Demonstrated clinical experience working with diverse populations in a behavioral health setting.
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic criteria and treatment modalities for mental health disorders.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Commitment to ethical practice, cultural sensitivity, and client-centered care.
