- Conduct comprehensive assessments to formulate accurate diagnoses and treatment plans, adhering to current industry best practices and ethical guidelines.
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship conflicts, and more.
- Foster a strong therapeutic alliance with clients, using various modalities (e.g., cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, and family systems) to tailor treatment plans to meet individual needs.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other mental health professionals, to provide seamless and holistic care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and progress notes, ensuring strict confidentiality and compliance with all legal and ethical requirements.
- Stay up-to-date on current research and advances in the field, participating in ongoing professional development activities, including supervised training and continuing education
Skills Required for the Behavioral Health Consultant Opportunity:
- LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT
- Licensure in the state of Indiana or eligible to obtain
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience
- Solid knowledge and expertise in evidence-based therapeutic modalities and interventions
- Exceptional assessment and diagnostic skills to create individualized treatment plans
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex concepts to clients and collaborate with treatment teams
- Strong interpersonal abilities and empathy to establish rapport and trust with diverse clients and their families
