Respiratory Therapist – Full-Time (3x12 Shift)

Location: Littleton, Maine

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Littleton, Maine. The primary assignment will be 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7 a.m. – 7 p.m.), with shared weekend, holiday, and on-call coverage. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality respiratory care to patients, working alongside physicians and other medical professionals to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer respiratory therapy treatments to patients with a variety of respiratory conditions.
  • Monitor and adjust ventilators, oxygen therapy, and other respiratory treatments as needed.
  • Provide emergency respiratory care in critical situations.
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory care techniques, equipment use, and home therapies.
  • Participate in weekend, holiday, and on-call rotation coverage.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to evaluate patient progress and modify care plans.

Requirements:

  • Must have or be eligible for Maine CRTT or RRT licensure.
  • Previous experience in respiratory therapy preferred.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts (7 a.m. – 7 p.m.) with shared weekend, holiday, and on-call coverage.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities in fast-paced settings.
