Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist – Night Shift (6:00 pm - 6:00 am)

Location: Hopewell, TX

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team on the night shift (6:00 pm - 6:00 am). In this role, you will provide high-quality respiratory care to patients, including administering therapies, monitoring respiratory status, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This is an essential role that requires the ability to work independently during night hours.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory treatments and therapies to patients, including oxygen therapy, nebulization, and mechanical ventilation support
• Monitor and assess patients’ respiratory status, making adjustments as needed
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to create and adjust care plans
• Document patient care and progress in compliance with hospital protocols
• Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree or higher in Respiratory Therapy
• Current Respiratory Therapist license (RRT or CRT) in the state of Texas
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Previous experience as a Respiratory Therapist preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently during the night shift
