Job Title: Cardiac Electrophysiology (EP) Tech – $15K Sign-On Bonus

Location: Kissimmee, FL

Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift | 8-Hour Shift

Department: Cardiac Electrophysiology

Sign-On Bonus: $15,000

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Cardiac Electrophysiology (EP) Tech to join our dynamic cardiology team in Kissimmee, FL. This role is responsible for assisting in electrophysiology (EP) procedures, ablations, and device implantations while ensuring patient safety and high-quality outcomes. The EP Tech will work closely with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in electrophysiology studies (EPS), catheter ablations, and implantation of pacemakers and defibrillators.
  • Operate and troubleshoot EP recording and mapping systems, ablation devices, and other specialized EP equipment.
  • Monitor and document intracardiac electrograms, hemodynamic data, and patient responses during procedures.
  • Ensure radiation safety and compliance with ALARA principles.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and technologists to provide seamless patient care.
  • Maintain knowledge of new EP technologies and procedural techniques.
  • Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Required: Associate’s Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or a related field
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in a healthcare-related field

Experience:

  • Required: Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrophysiology (EP) procedures with knowledge of EP recording and ablation devices
  • Preferred: Experience in an acute care hospital setting (strongly preferred but not required)

Licensure/Certification:

  • Required: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES)
  • Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association
  • Preferred: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
