MRI Technologist Position

Overview

Seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to perform Magnetic Resonance procedures autonomously under the guidance of a radiologist. The role involves conducting various technical procedures with a focus on radiological diagnosis utilizing ionizing radiation. The ideal candidate is skilled in providing patient care across all age groups and will report directly to the Director of Imaging.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MRI diagnostic procedures and assist Radiologists during examinations.
  • Ensure patient, peer, and personal safety throughout procedures.
  • Maintain professional communication within and between departments.
  • Manage supply conservation and report equipment issues promptly.
  • Engage in continuous education in line with ARRT requirements.
  • Fulfill any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent; completion of an accredited Radiologic technology program with advanced MRI certification.
  • Licensure/Certification: Required MRI certification; American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification.
  • Work Experience: Preferably two years of experience as a technologist with CT experience being a plus.
