Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Radiology Technologist to join our dynamic Radiology team near Fresno, CA. The successful candidate will perform a variety of standard and specialty diagnostic radiographic procedures with accuracy and efficiency. Utilizing fluoroscopy, computed and direct radiography equipment, including mobile c-arm and x-ray units, the Radiology Technologist will produce high-quality diagnostic images while adhering to safety protocols and ethical standards.

The successful candidate will perform a variety of standard and specialty diagnostic radiographic procedures with accuracy and efficiency. Utilizing fluoroscopy, computed and direct radiography equipment, including mobile c-arm and x-ray units, the Radiology Technologist will produce high-quality diagnostic images while adhering to safety protocols and ethical standards.

Responsibilities of the Radiology Technologist:

  • Perform standard and specialty diagnostic radiographic procedures with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Administer ionizing radiation responsibly, following ALARA principles and maintaining minimal technique parameters.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in fluoroscopy, computed radiography, and direct radiography techniques.
  • Ensure proper positioning of patients to achieve optimal image quality and diagnostic accuracy.
  • Maintain knowledge of anatomy, physiology, radiation physics, and image production techniques.
  • Adhere to the profession's code of ethics and uphold safety measures in the Environment of Care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and safety.

Minimum Qualifications of the Certified Rad Tech:

  • High School Diploma/GED AND graduate of a formal program in Radiologic Technology OR a College Degree in Radiology (2-year or 4-year).
  • California Radiologic Technologist License (CRT).
  • ARRT Registered Technologist (RT-R) in Radiography preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • Radiologic Technologist/Fluoroscopy (RHF) License required within six (6) months of hire.
  • Minimum of six (6) months of experience in Diagnostic Radiology.
  • Pediatric experience and bilingual skills preferred.
