Skills Required of the Radiology Technologist:

• Current ARRT registration as a Radiology Technologist.
• Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
• NYS License or eligible
• One or more years of Radiology Technology experience
• Maintains mandatory CEC-12 per year in Radiology technology.
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner.
• Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities, and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling.
• Computer literacy required

Highlights about the Radiology Technologist Position:

• Evening Shift 3 pm- 11 pm
• Hourly $31.93-$36.16
• Performs technical radiographic assignments.
• Exercises complex skills, judgment and knowledge of the principles and methods of Radiologic Technology.
• Performs diagnostic radiographic studies as requested.
• Operates portable diagnostic radiographic equipment where needed.
• Performs Infection Control according to Universal Precautions.
• Radiologic Technologist shall have the ability to provide care to infant, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
