Radiation Therapist

Join our dedicated oncology team as a Radiation Therapist in Zanesville. This full-time position offers a structured schedule and a supportive work environment. Schedule:

• 40 hours per week
• Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• No weekends, no on-call duties, and no holidays!

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of Radiation Therapy experience
• Proficiency with TrueBeam, Trilogy, and Aria systems strongly preferred
• Ohio Rad Tech license required
• ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy (RT)(T) required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Relocation assistance negotiable

Daily Responsibilities:

• Preparation: Review patient treatment plans and prepare treatment rooms and equipment.
• Patient Care: Explain treatment procedures to patients. Provide emotional support before, during, and after treatments. Monitor patients for adverse reactions during therapy.
• Treatment Administration: Operate LINAC machines to deliver precise radiation doses while ensuring patient safety.
• Documentation: Record treatments and collaborate with oncologists for ongoing patient care.
• Equipment Maintenance: Inspect and maintain radiation therapy equipment to ensure functionality.
