Radiology Manager

Small community hospital located less than 1 hour northeast of Minneapolis/Saint Paul, MN, is seeking a full-time, direct-hire Imaging Services Manager to join their dedicated leadership team.

The Imaging Services Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the imaging department, ensuring high-quality patient care, compliance with regulations, and efficient use of resources. This role involves managing staff, optimizing workflows, and collaborating with medical professionals to provide exceptional imaging services.

Qualifications of Diagnostic Imaging Services Manager

• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience as a technologist, with 1-2 years of supervisory/leadership experience, preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited radiology program from an accredited college or university.
• Certification and registration through ARRT or equivalent.

Imaging Services Manager:

• Supervise and lead the imaging staff, including radiologists, technologists, and support personnel.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide professional development opportunities.
• Manage daily operations of the imaging department, ensuring efficient workflow and patient scheduling.
• Monitor and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards.
• Implement policies and procedures to enhance service delivery and patient experience.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including those from state, federal, and accrediting bodies.
• Develop and oversee quality control measures and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Prepare and manage departmental budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
• Collaborate with administration on financial planning and resource allocation.
• Work closely with physicians and healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and ensure effective communication regarding imaging results.
