Ultrasound Technologist - ARDMS certified

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technologist (ARDMS) to join our team in the Shelby, NC area. As an Ultrasound Technologist (ARDMS), you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced equipment to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures.

• Monday - Thursday schedule
• 6:30 PM - 5:30 AM shift
• $15K sign on bonus!
• Relocation available if needed
• ARDMS required!

Job Responsibilities for the Ultrasound Technologist:

• Examines requests and verifies orders on each assigned patient
• Assists Radiologists in the performance of invasive procedures
• Evaluate the technical quality of exams and develop a superior varied technique for elevated efficiency in the department
• Reports malfunctioning equipment to the Assistant Director, Lead Sonographer, and/or Engineer.
• Operates the Radiology computer system to include entering and charging exams and supplies.
• Maintains assigned work area in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Assists in keeping the area completely stocked.
• Adheres to departmental rules and regulations while performing professionally always
• 4/10’s shift, Monday-Thursday 7 pm-5:30 am

Minimum Requirements for the Ultrasound Technologist:

• Certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (S) required
• BLS HCP certification from AHA is required.
