Job Description

CT Technologist (Computer Tomography) - Permanent and Full-Time Hire - CLICK AND APPLY!

Performs all CT radiologic procedures at an advanced skills level. Performs procedures to produce computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of designated anatomical areas according to established practices and procedures.

  • Performs and documents all CT scans
  • Explains procedures and addresses patient concerns
  • Ensures patient comfort, safety, and proper positioning
  • Administers intravenous contrast under physician supervision and manages complications
  • Proficient in EHR and independent workstation operation
  • Conducts basic to advanced CT exams, including reconstructions and Cardiovascular CT imaging
  • Trains students and new staff as a preceptor
  • Assists with survey readiness, policy training, and equipment troubleshooting
  • Takes call as needed, based on hospital requirements
  • Provides leadership in the absence of the Lead Tech
  • Mentors CT Technicians (Tech I and Tech II)

Minimum Education:

  • Associates Degree Required

Licenses:

  • Registered Technologist-Computed Tomography - ARRT Upon Hire Required or
  • Certified in Computed Tomography - NMTCB Upon Hire Required and
  • Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

  • Accredited program in radiologic technology and training in computer tomography procedures. Upon Hire Required
