Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified School Psychologist to join our team in Camden Wyoming, DE. This is a contract position, and we welcome applications from both local and travel candidates. As a School Psychologist, you will play a critical role in supporting the mental, emotional, and academic well-being of students in grades K-8.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students’ needs.
• Provide individual and group counseling to students, addressing a range of emotional, behavioral, and social issues.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement effective intervention strategies and individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Support teachers and staff in addressing student needs through consultation and training.
• Participate in the development and implementation of school-wide mental health programs.
• Assist in crisis intervention and provide support during emergencies.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
• State licensure or certification as a School Psychologist in Delaware.
• Experience working with children in grades K-8 is preferred.
• Strong understanding of child development, learning, and behavior.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic school environment.
