Currently looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant to fill an opening at a Hospital in Central California. Interested candidates should have at least a Associate degree in Physical Therapy. Interested candidate must have or already applied to obtain their Physical Therapist Assistant License in California.

Currently looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant to fill an opening at a Hospital in Central California. Interested candidates should have at least a Associate degree in Physical Therapy. Interested candidate must have or already applied to obtain their Physical Therapist Assistant License in California.

Requirements of the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA):

• Open to new grads but prefer a minimum of 1 year of Physical Therapy experience
• Active CA PTA license, or eligible to obtain
• Day shifts
• Full-time, Direct-hire Opportunity

Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA):

• Plan and implement treatment interventions according to patient plan of care
• Documents daily record of patient’s condition, adapting treatment plans accordingly under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Communication of patient progress with Physical Therapist, patient, family, and interdisciplinary team
• Patient and family education of patient progress to include skilled recommendation on AE/DME and community support where available and when appropriate
• Ability to work in a typical clinical environment, stamina to remain standing or sitting for extended periods of time, and lift/assist patients as needed
