Currently looking for a PERM Physical Therapist (PT) to fill an opening with a Outpatient/Aquatic setting located around the Midland, Texas area. Interested candidates should have at least one year of clinical experience as a PT and have an active Texas Physical Therapist license.

Requirements of the Physical Therapist

• One year of Physical Therapist (PT) experience
• Outpatient/Aquatic
• Active/Eligible Texas Physical Therapist license
• Day Shift - M-Th 8A-5P; Friday 8A-12P with an acute rotation every 4th or 5th weekend.
• Very competitive base pay with shift and on-call differential
• Must obtain BLS, PALS, and ACLS upon start day
• PERM/DIRECT-HIRE PLACEMENT ONLY

Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist (PT)

• Administers medically prescribed physical therapy programs and treatments to restore function and prevent disability following disease, injury, or loss of body part.
• Directs and supervises employees of the department in the assigned work areas and participates in interdisciplinary care within the department and the hospital.

• Plans Physical Therapy programs for each patient through evaluation and assessment of patient needs, as prescribed by physicians.

• Has the authority to recommend disciplinary action pertaining to employees supervised.
