We are currently seeking a licensed and motivated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dynamic team.

Job Summary:
As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with various physical conditions and injuries. You will develop individualized treatment plans aimed at improving patient mobility, function, and overall quality of life. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and a passion for helping others achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients to determine their physical therapy needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings, patient goals, and evidence-based practices.
  • Provide hands-on therapy, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, modalities, and functional training.
  • Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and strategies for ongoing recovery and wellness.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation staff, to provide coordinated care.
  • Stay current with industry best practices, continuing education, and advancements in physical therapy.
  • Participate in team meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and community outreach programs.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist in Alabama.
  • Previous clinical experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and a passion for helping others.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and electronic health records.
