NEW Phlebotomy Supervisor Opening - Shiawassee County Michigan

• Permanent full time position
• Varied Shift
• Under Direct Supervision of Laboratory Manager and Laboratory Director. Responsible for specimen collection operations including venipuncture, culture collections, and specimen processing. Directly responsible for training, scheduling, and day-to-day operations. Candidate should be a subject matter expert in knowledge and mastery of collection techniques, site selection, aseptic techniques, and processing steps.
• Requirements
  • High School Diploma Required
  • Phlebotomy Training Required
  • Three years recent phlebotomy experience (arterial, capillary, and venous). Demonstrated ability to handle responsibilities without direct supervision. Experience with Satellite operations and NIDA and NON-NIDA drug-screen collections. Must have valid Michigan Driver's License with good driving record. Has proven initiative, ability to maintain excellent public relations during high-volume workloads, and is service-motivated.
