Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in Media, PA. In this role, you’ll support Occupational Therapists in providing therapy that enhances residents' independence, functionality, and quality of life.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist Occupational Therapists in implementing personalized treatment plans tailored to resident goals.
  • Lead therapeutic activities aimed at improving daily living skills, mobility, and overall well-being.
  • Document patient progress accurately and collaborate on treatment adjustments as needed.
  • Educate residents and their families on exercises and activities to continue at home.
  • Maintain a safe, positive environment for all therapy sessions in compliance with facility guidelines.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) program.
  • Active COTA license in Pennsylvania or eligibility to obtain it.
  • Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
  • Ability to work well as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
