Position: Occupational Therapist I CLT (PRN)
Location: Greater Atlanta, GA
Are you an empathetic and compassionate Occupational Therapist ready to make a meaningful impact on patients in a unique and challenging environment? We are seeking a dedicated PRN Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team, working one-on-one with patients facing tough medical challenges. Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver Compassionate Care: Provide one-on-one, individualized care to patients using therapeutic techniques, advanced technology, and a collaborative approach.
- Leadership and Guidance: Lead patient care by coordinating and guiding treatments to help patients achieve their highest level of function.
- Consultation with Physicians: Collaborate with physicians to clarify treatment orders, adjust care plans, and recommend durable medical equipment when necessary.
- Holistic Treatment Approach: Use therapeutic techniques such as neurological and orthopedic methods, manual therapies, and orthotic fabrication to support patient recovery.
- Rehabilitation Goals: Work with patients to set goals, educate them on their treatment plans, and guide them in progressive exercises and activities that promote functional independence.
Qualifications:
- Required Experience: Acute care experience or Lymphedema certification (preferred).
- Team-Oriented: Experience working as part of a team to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care.
- Therapeutic Skills: Knowledge of evaluation techniques, neurological techniques, orthopedics, manual therapy, and orthotic fabrication.
- Education & Certifications: Graduate from an AOTA-accredited Occupational Therapy program, national certification in Occupational Therapy, and current Georgia state licensure.

PRN Requirements:
- Availability: Must submit availability 4 weeks in advance.
- Attendance Policy: More than 2 unscheduled absences per quarter may result in removal from the PRN pool.
- Overtime: Overtime may be required based on business needs but will only be applicable for hours worked beyond 40 per week.
- Weekend Hours: Availability to work Saturday and/or Sunday when needed.
