Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Dupont, WA, to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in helping patients regain or develop the skills they need for daily living and working. You will work closely with patients to assess their needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide hands-on therapy in a supportive, patient-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient goals.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to help patients improve daily living skills, mobility, and independence.
  • Educate patients and their families about adaptive strategies, equipment, and techniques to enhance daily functioning.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals (e.g., physical therapists, speech therapists, physicians) to ensure coordinated care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatments, and outcomes.
  • Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and continuing education opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Valid Washington State Occupational Therapy License (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Certification in Occupational Therapy (OTR) through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
  • Previous experience in a clinical, home health, or school setting is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and families.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
