Responsibilities of the Medical Technologist/Laboratory Scientist (MT) (MLS) (CLS)
- Primarily Blood Bank, but may train in other areas of the lab, as well
- Abide by laboratory protocol and procedures.
- Comfortable in a high-volume setting.
- Knowledge of laboratory equipment and testing to perform quality control checks and troubleshooting of instrumentation.
Requirements of the Medical Technologist/Laboratory Scientist (MT) (MLS) (CLS)
- ASCP or equivalent certification required
- BS Degree in Medical Technology or related science required
- Comfortable working in all areas of the lab.
