NEW Lab Manager Opening - Greater Bakersfield, CA Area

• Permanent full time position
• Onsite position
• Position Overview: Responsible for coordinating and supervising all functions of the Clinical Laboratory. This includes staffing, training, scheduling, budgeting that promotes cost containment, maintaining PAR and relating with various department physicians and administration of the District. Responsible for recognizing results or problems that requires referral to the Pathologist. This is a working lab manager role - some bench work will be required at times.
• Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Technology, Biology or Chemistry.
  • California licensure as a Medical Technologist as a generalist.
  • Prior laboratory manager/supervisor experience preferred. Rural healthcare experience preferred as well!
• Pay Range: $141k-$203k/year
