Job Description: As a Generalist Medical Technologist/Medical Lab Technician, you will perform a wide range of laboratory tests across various departments, ensuring accurate, timely, and reliable results. You will be responsible for preparing, processing, and analyzing patient samples, while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining laboratory equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of diagnostic tests and assays with accuracy in multiple areas of the laboratory.
  • Prepare, process, and analyze patient samples in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Interpret test results, document findings, and report results to the medical team.
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Follow strict laboratory safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Adhere to regulatory and accreditation standards and ensure quality control in all testing processes.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
  • Certification by ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology) is required.
  • Previous experience in a generalist laboratory setting is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals.

Shifts Available: We offer flexibility in shift assignments, with options available for Day or Evening shifts.
