Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cytotechnologist to join our team in Nashville, TN. The ideal candidate will be responsible for examining cellular samples under a microscope to detect abnormalities and assist in diagnosing diseases. This role requires strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality laboratory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Microscopically examine and evaluate cytologic specimens for abnormalities.
• Work closely with pathologists to provide accurate and timely diagnoses.
• Prepare and stain cytology slides according to established laboratory protocols.
• Document and report findings in compliance with regulatory and laboratory standards.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper quality control procedures are followed.
• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols within the laboratory.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Cytotechnology or a related field.
• Certification as a Cytotechnologist (CT ASCP) required.
• Strong knowledge of cytology techniques and laboratory procedures.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a high-volume setting.
