Job Opportunity: Medical Lab Scientist – Ketchikan, AK
We have an exciting opportunity for Medical Lab Scientists to join a healthcare team in Ketchikan, AK. There are four full-time openings available with day shifts and competitive pay and benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of diagnostic laboratory tests on patient samples, including blood, urine, and other specimens
- Analyze test results and ensure accuracy and precision
- Maintain laboratory equipment and follow quality control procedures
- Collaborate with medical staff to provide timely and accurate diagnostic information
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and documentation requirements
Qualifications:
- MLS (ASCP) certification or equivalent (required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field
- Strong experience in laboratory testing and diagnostic analysis
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills
