Job Opportunity: Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician – Eastport, ME
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Medical Technologist (MT) / Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join the healthcare team in Eastport, ME. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and benefits. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of diagnostic laboratory tests
- Analyze test results and ensure accuracy and precision
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Collaborate with medical staff to provide timely and accurate diagnostic information
- Follow established protocols and maintain proper documentation
Qualifications:
- MT (ASCP) or MLT (ASCP) certification or equivalent (required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related field (for MT), or relevant training and experience (for MLT)
- Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques and protocols
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
