Job Opportunity: Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician – Artesia, NM

We have an exciting opportunity for Medical Technologists (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technicians (MLT) to join the healthcare team in Artesia, NM. We have 3 openings available:

• 1 part-time weekend day shift (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
• 2 full-time evening shifts (12:00 PM – 8:30 PM or 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday; weekend coverage once trained may be available)

These positions offer competitive pay and benefits with the opportunity for additional weekend rotations once fully trained.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of diagnostic laboratory tests
• Analyze test results and ensure accuracy and precision
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Collaborate with medical staff to provide timely and accurate diagnostic information
• Follow established protocols and maintain proper documentation

Qualifications:

• MT (ASCP) or MLT (ASCP) certification or equivalent (required)
• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related field (for MT), or relevant training and experience (for MLT)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Availability to work weekend shifts after training (for weekend shift role)
