Job Opportunity: Microbiology Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) – Red Lion, PA

We are seeking Microbiology Medical Laboratory Scientists (MLS) to join our team in Red Lion, PA. These are full-time positions with evening and day shift options and offer competitive pay and excellent benefits.

Available Shifts:

• Microbiology MLS – FT Evening
• Microbiology MLS – FT Day

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and analyze microbiological tests on clinical specimens to identify pathogens and assess infection
• Conduct cultures, staining, and sensitivity testing to assist with patient diagnosis
• Ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results, following strict quality control and safety procedures
• Work with healthcare providers to interpret microbiological findings and guide treatment plans
• Keep current with advances in microbiological techniques and industry standards

Qualifications:

• MLS (ASCP) certification or equivalent with specialization in microbiology required
• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Microbiology, or a related field
• Strong experience in microbiological testing and laboratory practices
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills
