Salary: $47.92 - $69.00 per hour

Job Description:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Clinical Laboratory Scientists to join our team on the day shift. In this role, you will perform laboratory tests of waived and non-waived complexity across all laboratory sections, ensuring accurate and timely results. You will demonstrate care and professionalism in every interaction with patients, visitors, staff, and physicians. As a Clinical Laboratory Scientist, you will be responsible for following quality control and assurance procedures, documenting work accurately, and overseeing the work of laboratory assistants. Additionally, you may perform skin, arterial, and venipuncture collections as necessary. You will also assist with regulatory compliance activities as directed by section supervisors and the lab manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory tests across various sections, including waived and non-waived complexity tests.
- Ensure proper documentation of all work performed, following established protocols.
- Oversee the work of laboratory assistants, providing guidance and support.
- Conduct skin, arterial, and venipuncture collections as required.
- Participate in regulatory compliance activities at the direction of supervisors and lab management.
- Adhere to quality control and quality assurance standards to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with patients, staff, and physicians.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to support efficient laboratory operations.
Qualifications & Skills:

Required:
- California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license.
- Must be a generalist with the ability to work in all areas of the laboratory.
- Some experience in blood bank procedures preferred.
- Ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Must be proficient in English (both verbal and written communication).
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally with patients, staff, and the public.
- Basic computer skills are required.
