Job Description
NEW Laboratory Manager - Quality Management Opening in Southeast Virginia
- Permanent full time position
- Responsible for the delivery of high quality services that meets or exceeds customer expectations. Analyzes patient data and suggests physician protocol for confirming patient diagnosis; acts as a consultant to pathologists, physicians and other team members; identifies needs and implements training to ensure competency of laboratory staff. Coordinates the development and implementation of new lab services. Contributes to the success of the organization through achievement of system, hospital and departmental goals and objectives.
- Requirements
- Bachelors degree
- ASCP or AMT Certification
- 3 years laboratory leadership
- Lab Quality experience preferred
- Some travel to different sites will be included.

- This position is located in the Norfolk, VA/Chesapeake, VA area with a level 1 trauma center part of a top award winning healthcare system.
