Job Description: Top healthcare facility looking for an experienced and dedicated General Lab Supervisor to join our team. The Lab Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the General Lab, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a team of lab technicians and ensuring adequate staffing level
  • Implementing and monitoring quality control procedures
  • Training staff on lab procedures and safety protocols
  • Participating in departmental meetings and contributing to strategic planning initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field.
  • Certification through ASCP is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting, with specific experience in the general lab
  • 1 years of supervisory or management experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of lab operations, including regulatory requirements (FDA, AABB, CAP)
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make critical decisions under pressure
  • Proficiency in using laboratory information systems (LIS) and other relevant software
