Histology Professional - College Park, PA - Permanent and Full-Time - CLICK AND APPLY!
- Typical Work Schedule: Days (6:30am-3:00pm)
- Prepares tissue slides by chemically treating, embedding, cutting, mounting, staining, coverslipping, and labeling tissue sections for microscopic analysis by the pathologists.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Requires HTL (ASCP) certification from accredited institution preferred or must become certified within 2 years from date of hire, AND a B.S. from accredited institution, which meets CAP requirements under high complexity testing to include grossing; OR Equivalent laboratory training and experience meeting the requirements in the CLIA regulation 42CFR493.1489 or meet provisions defined in 42CFR493.1489 (b)(2)(B)(4) or 42CFR493.1489 (b)(2)(B)(5)(i) for personnel performing high complexity testing on or before April 24, 1995.
- Must be able to pass a color discrimination test.
- Pennsylvania State Police criminal record check, child abuse history clearance, and an FBI criminal history check required.
