Histology Supervisor – Spartanburg, SC
Location: Spartanburg, SC
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM

We are seeking an experienced Histology Supervisor to lead a dynamic laboratory team in Spartanburg, SC. This is a full-time, permanent position offering excellent compensation, great benefits, and a daytime schedule with weekends off!
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the histology laboratory
- Supervise and train histotechnologists and support staff
- Ensure compliance with CAP, CLIA, and other regulatory standards
- Perform grossing, embedding, microtomy, and staining as needed
- Maintain quality control procedures and troubleshoot technical issues
- Collaborate with pathologists and lab leadership to optimize workflow
Qualifications:
ASCP certification required (HT/HTL)
Minimum 2-3 years of histology experience (lead/supervisory preferred)
Strong knowledge of histology techniques, lab regulations, and quality control
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
