Job Description
Histotechnician
Shift: 4:00am - 12:00pm
Compensation: Maximum of $32/hour
Additional Benefits: Approved up to $32/hour & $5,000 relocation reimbursement
- Perform routine and complex histology procedures accurately and efficiently
- Prepare tissue specimens for microscopic examination by pathologists
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
- Ensure compliance with laboratory regulations and protocols
- Assist in training and mentoring junior staff members
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in histotechnology or related field
- Certification as a Histotechnician (HT) by ASCP or equivalent
- Prior experience in a histology laboratory setting
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
