Job Description
Position Details:
- Role: Histology Supervisor
- Location: Westchester County, NY
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (Full time permanent position)
- Salary Range: $95,000 - $108,000 per year (based on experience)
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the histology department.
- Assign tasks, review work, and provide guidance to histology staff.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate equipment maintenance.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize workflow and outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field.
- Histotechnologist (HTL) certification preferred.
- NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist license.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
