Job Description
HISTOLOGY TECH/TECHNOLOGIST
*SIGN ON BONUS AND RELOCATION ASSISTANCE OFFERED (if needed)*
SUMMARY: Performs laboratory procedures; documents quality assurance; maintains equipment, instruments, and tools. Acceptable certificate program includes completion of NAACLS accredited Histotechnician (HT) or Histotechnologist (HTL) program. Certification eligible applicants with American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) may be considered in lieu of licensure. Proof of eligibility required upon hire. Certification for eligible employees shall be acquired within five years from date of hire. Certified Histotechnicians and Histotechnologists with American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) may be considered in lieu of education.
