Vascular Ultrasound Technologist (Monday-Friday, Day Shift)

Location: Memphis, TN

We are seeking a skilled Vascular Ultrasound Technologist to join our team in Memphis, TN. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional looking for a stable, Monday-Friday day shift schedule with NO ON CALL duties. The ideal candidate will perform non-invasive vascular exams to assess blood flow and help diagnose vascular conditions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality vascular ultrasound exams, including carotid, venous, and arterial studies.

• Ensure that ultrasound images are of high diagnostic value for accurate results.

• Maintain accurate documentation of patient information and exam results.

• Collaborate with physicians to discuss exam findings and contribute to patient care decisions.

• Follow all safety protocols and infection control standards during procedures.

• Keep ultrasound equipment well-maintained and perform routine quality control checks.

• Educate patients on the procedure and ensure their comfort during the exam.

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Vascular Technologist (RVT or equivalent) required.

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.

• Previous experience in vascular ultrasound preferred, but not required for entry-level candidates.

• Strong knowledge of vascular anatomy and Doppler ultrasound technology.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members.

• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
