Responsible for overseeing and managing the operations and staff involved in the diagnosis and treatment of vein diseases and disorders. Responsibilities of the Registered Phlebology Supervisor:

• Perform venous phlebology ultrasound examinations, requiring initiative to obtain required radiographs to facilitate diagnosis.

• Ensure high-quality patient care by supervising and guiding the clinical staff, including phlebologists, nurses, and medical assistants.

• Oversee the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for patients with venous diseases, such as varicose veins, spider veins, and other venous insufficiencies.

• Supervise and, if qualified, perform diagnostic procedures and treatments, including sclerotherapy, laser therapy, and other minimally invasive procedures.

• Develop, implement, and maintain clinical protocols and standards of care for phlebology treatments and procedures.

Minimum Requirements for the Phlebology Supervisor position:

• Two (2) years of experience phlebology sonographer preferred
• RPhS - Registered Phlebology Supervisor through CCI
• CPR Certification
