Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in school psychology and demonstrate a commitment to supporting the mental health and academic success of students. This role involves conducting diagnostic evaluations, providing individual and group counseling, and implementing behavior management strategies to foster a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess students' psychological needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
  • Provide crisis intervention services to students in need of immediate support.
  • Utilize applied behavior analysis techniques to address behavioral challenges.
  • Offer individual and group counseling sessions focused on emotional regulation, social skills, and academic performance.
  • Collaborate with educators to create supportive classroom environments that promote student well-being.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in school psychology.

Experience

  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field is required.
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
  • Proficiency in diagnostic evaluation and behavior management techniques is essential.
  • Familiarity with crisis intervention strategies and patient care practices is beneficial.
  • Licensed in DE (or on your way there).

Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour
